Chadwick Lakes Malta

Today me and Pukka we are doing a relaxing trek at Chadwick Lakes , where one can find a number of dams, pouring into each other, on the island of Malta. The area is locally known as Wied il-Qlejgħa. Their location extends from Qliegħa Valley in the limits of Mtarfa and Rabat, and extends to Għasel Valley in the peripheries of Mosta.

Thanks again for your excellent vlog.Brought me back memories from childhood when on a winter Sunday afternoon going to Chadwick lakes looking for tadpoles .It was not as safe as it is now.It looks beautiful and looks like the government is doing a good job with the renovation of the area to make it a safe family place.Thank you and your companions for your vlogs👍sahha

On the water dams you will find a lot of crayfish. They "sit" on the sidewalls.

Tried to look but could not see any, apart from one spot where I saw something hurtling down

@@PierreFarrugia I had catch a few in the past with a trap. There are about 4 invasive species. The green water does not help a lot to see them

Enjoyed watching but may I suggest to the authorities to widen the foot path to be no less than 2 metres, thus making it easier for two people to walk in opposite direction with ease. Also, the timber post should be replaced by galvanized steel. Timber won't last.

Not advisable?????????? It is ILLegal to catch frogs today!!!!!!!! One suggestion better to do these vlogs ijn maltese rather than in maltese/english

I advised against catching frogs, hope I am not misunderstood . I do them in english since youtube is an international platform .
