@@mahnoorq tbh for me that was the weakest korean bl drama only because of the shortness of it which didn’t allow for us to really get into the characters so for me, the drama just felt rushed which made the couple feel rushed so there wasn’t any chemistry 🥲 whereas in Where your eyes linger, I could feel their chemistry oozing from the screen and it felt more sexual really. You could say they were basically eye fucking each other because even their stares told something which is what a lot of bromance “queer bating” friendships have on kdramas like this one

What really gets me is when the producers and directors waste the potential of evolving the relationships/characters between two people who have eclectic chemistry that is felt even through the screen and they decide to separate or kill off one of them to concentrate on the relationship between the main protagonists who have a bit of chemistry but is seen over and over again in other dramas. It doesn’t have to necessarily be a romantic relationship but a relationship of sort based on respect, understanding, and connection.....something along those lines. I think one of the main reasons why I’m drawn to dramas with homosexual main characters is that it’s not as saturated and overwritten as many dramas with heterosexual main characters and the potential evolve a genre is there and not overlooked because it goes against societal norms. I have nothing against dramas and movies with heterosexual main characters but it’s something I’ve seen over and over again and when I’m watching a drama I want to see actors, directors, and producers not being afraid to actually creat and step into a world that is not so similar to oneself.

However, they are very short which makes me feel really sad because I love K drama and I want to watch something that is similar to a regular Kdrama that we all used to see Not 8 episodes and each episode is 10 minutes or 12 minutes... I know it’s hard to endorse BL series in Korean unlike Taiwan and Thailand which is really unfortunate I hope in the upcoming years we will see bl couples in a k drama and have longer episodes as well and have more present bl characters

i just finished watching this drama and im looking for others opinion abt this series because i personally liked it very much. im a little bit shocked by the comments saying "this would be a great bl drama" because if you really really watch this drama, you wouldnt even think about that at all, of course their chemistry was great but in a different way. also this is not a romance genre series at all. it focuses on each character's development. so for me there is no such thing as "wasted potential lover". addional note, you guys should understand abt how other culture works, of course it would be different on the eastern if you compare it to the western.

Looks like a very touching series to watch, however I do think that the ones that are shipping those two, even though they may already know it’s not a BL, might just be appreciating the chemistry the two have regardless of the plot/trials they go through. I believe it’s a healthy thing to distinguish drama from reality both from a wishful thinking as well as abuse/toxic relationship point of view. One thing does not surpass the other if you make it real on your mind.

He literally hit him in the past and does the same in the present. He very rarely listens to the other one when the person says stop and he doesn't listen at all when he is frustrated, gets irritated by words and takes it at the other person by hitting pushing etc. He feels bad only when it is taken too far which I can only understand that he has some problem. This cannot be in any way shipped as bl because such relationships, even if it was friendship TURNS ABUSIVE. And abusive relationships only hurts one of the person once it's encouraged, because this guilt of hurting the other person gradually fades away once they are like 'oh he/she doesn't mind ' he feels guilt because he has not gone this far for other or doesn't much often do this to other people. If he has been changed I have not seen this series so I can't be sure whether he mends his ways afterwards but you cannot expect anyone who might be like this to have the same character development. I am sorry for the creator though because I understand they did not meant for the video to look like a bl ship video, but romanticism by the other commentators on this channel just because they have good chemistry makes people stray away from the fact what it was actually portraying. And I really don't understand why people seem to feel sympathy? Like you see a person hitting someone with a sad expression justifies their actions because 'they might not mean it' smth. For the person that gets affected by this in this series and in real life victims of such abusive relationships, I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you.

I've been followed Navillera till finished 12 episodes..very awesome sequels movie on Netflix..Chae Rok is the leading actor in this movie & so tremendous acting leaves many emotions to the audiences.. Chae Rok is so damn handsome actor with full package.. Only on the last episode make me wonder what happened to Chae Rok ballet competition at oversea whether he won any place or otherwise..the highlights of the story is actually at the Gala Show just to focus only on Mr Sim the old man ballerina as his one & the only performance on stage.. overall of the story is very awesome..
