People gotta realize how tough this side of the bracket was. For whatever reason they decided to put Taylor (3x world champion and Olympic champion), Sadulaev (6x world champion and 2x Olympic champion), and Ghasempour (2x world champion) all on the same side, while the bottom half was basically a free trip to the finals. Given the fact that Taylor is usually 86kg, Ghasempour is 92kg, and Sadulaev is 97kg, it’s pretty impressive that Taylor did as well as he did, a great way to end his career!

Really cool of you too pay DT the respect of watching his last match like this! We wrestlers are just a different breed.

Thank you Chael for the video. I knew the result going into watching. But the play by play really helped me enjoy the moment. Yes you should do more wrestling play by play.

I just don't understand how a guy wrestling at this level, and a past champion, could get that tired. Very strange. But I do feel better knowing the DT pulled this off because these guys he was competing with are all the best of the best.

Some people stumble on ..winning ..and..won. It's a mental block.

I would’ve been a wrestling champion if I stuck with it

I feel like david kept shooting a desperate single over and over again and it seemed really obvious. Seemed like a mental block
