Chael understands the wrestling business enough that he used the entire concept of heel psychology to build his MMA/UFC persona. People who love Chael, yet hate wrestling, are just so bizarre to me. He is a fantastic fighter, one of the best for sure, but it's his mic work and persona that got him as popular as he did. I love the fighters that acknowledge how much professional wrestling has helped their careers.

I fully agree with Chael that I liked wrestling more when it looked like a brawl instead of choreographed aerobatics. This is something many criticize AEW for, and rightly so, but even WWE does it to a lesser extent. Everything is planned, but not everything needs to seem planned to the audience. Rock’s a more successful actor hands down, by 10 miles. They’re both arguably the two biggest icons of the last 40 years. Austin’s a close 3rd, but his entire full time career was like 13 years.
