If he really has hypogonadism, as he claims, why did he wait until 2008 to get injectable Testosterone? Over 20 years of hypogonadism and you wait until 2008 to get your first treatment?? Sounds fishy.

62blitz he’s not being unreasonable. I agree all the PEDs should be banned in sport, including testosterone replacement. But TRT is not the same as anabolics. It’s medically prescribed quite a lot for older individuals for a myriad of causes and symptoms. If you research it more, you will understand what he is talking about. End of the day - my personal take is that in competitive sport and young individuals it sets a bad precedent and must be banned. But there is medical use, and your criticism of Chanel here, is based on not throughly exploring or understanding the issues he is talking about.

but if the commisions allows it, is it his falt or the commisions? i also think its important to note that sonnen applied to the commision with doctors orders to ask if he could use testosterone treatment, he would have used it now as apposed to when he was 13 because now he is older it is going to be harder for him to build and maintain muscle than the fighters who have better natural testosterone. what grounds do we have to question the doctors and the commission without sufficient evidence :)

I don't think they test for any of that, except testosterone. Nevada checks for a t:e ratio of >6:1 (which means they just use testosterone until they are under 6:1; a normal level is 1:1 and for 99.999% of people the most you can get is 2:1). The designer stuff would be even less likely to get caught. Steroids are ridiculously common in MMA, though.

There are tricks to mitigate every dangerous side effect. People just don't do any research. Thermolife LiverLonger will protect your liver from steroid damage. Then there's a thyroid protection you need. And people don't want to fork over extra for these things that you need. That's probably why Nate and Chael needed TRT.
