Italian 🙋🏻‍♂️ Lasagna and cannelloni are oven baked pasta, which means they have to make a bunch of it in a tray and than split it by portions when they serve it. Chaels never worked in a restaurant before. 😂 the staff 100% took your food home. I used to go home with a full crab and a couple filet mignons every night haha also that is part of what a Brazilian steakhouse is. They charge a base price and do not allow you to take home whatever food you decide not to eat because the food is unlimited so if they allowed to-go boxes everybody would just rob them blind. Same principal as authentic Korean bbq restaurants. You eat all you can at while you’re there and it’s all fresh made and delicious but you don’t take any home. Cheers fellas have a good day

@@tomfoolery6815ok so you have never been to an authentic Brazilian steakhouse or Korean BBQ. They are available in the US (at least I’m positive they are all over California) you should look some up and see if one is in your local area they’re pretty cool. Basically you pay a base price to walk in the door (last time I went to a Brazilian steakhouse it was about $60 per person) then they have a self serve “buffet” line of food and you also have the option of “ordering” specialty items off of the menu. The deal is that you can eat as much as you want and order as many things as you want off of the menu but you are not allowed to take food home. The reason being is that if they allowed that, everybody would just order way more food than they know that they can eat in order to take it home and the business would lose money. The food being served is not like a typical American “buffet” you can order filet mignon, fresh scallops, crab, ribeye, etc. Eo the understanding is that you pay $60 and get access to as much fancy food as you want on that menu with the understanding that you will not over order more than you can actually eat and just take a bunch of extra expensive food home.

I am from Brazil, São Paulo, and usually in Italian restaurants, people put the pot of food on a smaller table right beside the table you are sitting at, and you can refill your plate until the pot is over... and by the end if there is still food on the pot, you can box it and take it home... I don't where have you been, but they understood you didn't want the food anymore. Where there a translator with you and your family?
