I have read were Dricus could be a light heavy weight fighter. So that's saying something about his size and power. I think his striking is elite. His grappling/ jujitsu is elite. There's offensive wrestling and defensive wrestling. There are other aspects to it too: Bo is better at keeping people down but doesn't switch positions as fast as Chimaev. Chimaev is leaner and more flexible but Bo is stronger and has impeccable defence. Yea this is a great showdown moment coming. Could our best collegiate wrestlers stop the Lincon beard Sambo fighters that's the question. It will be awesome but don't be shocked if the Sambo fighter comes out on top. I think part of the reason is they have been learning wrestling for fighting all their lives. We mistakenly look at them and think that's not perfect wrestling form and so on. It's going to be fascinating seeing these two square off. That's a dream fight. Could also be our best wins. Both we and prospective MMA fighters currently high-level wrestlers will know that at that point and it could begin a new era for the UFC but somehow the money's got to be there. Bo couldn’t control Cody Brundage on the floor for large spells and got countered on a takedown. Chimaev manhandled Whittaker and broke his jaw. Rob is a much better takedown defense specialist and has far better percentages against much more difficult opponents than Cody - who hasn’t proven 💩 in UFC. Regardless of Bo’s wrestling pedigree, he has simply not shown the level of cutthroat, mauling, dominating grappling compared to Chimaev. Fact Brundage got out a few times shows while Bo can takedown, he doesn’t have the level of suffocating, smothering, all dominating power as Chimaev. Chimaev - you could escape, then he comes back for more and harder. Just look at the Rob or Kevin Holland fights. Let Bo fight much better fighters first before we even talk about this.
