conor was once ranked pound for pound #2 under jon jones. conor has 19 knock outs. conor is only 1 of 3 ufc fighters to have kos in 3 weight divisions, knock outs at 145, 155 and 170. Conor has multiple knock outs in under 30 seconds. conor won both 145 and 155 in cage warriors then won 3 championship belts in the ufc in only 18 months. interim belt at 145, and the real belts at 145 and 155 IN 18 MONTHS. insane. and the list goes on and on with his records just look it up. he has multiple knock outs in under 30 seconds. anyone who hates on conor doesnt know what they are talking about. boo hoo he lost to khabib, diaz and porier, he also beat diaz and porier and only didnt get to beat khabib. so 1 man he fought and lost to and the world wont shut up about it. he's as close to undefeated as you can get. he has less defeats then mike tyson. he should have quit when he got the second belt and remained undefeated which he could have if he hand picked his fights like these other scaredy cats do. khabib ducked ferguson for years even cancelling the fight to escape that beat down he was going to recieve. khabib may be undefeated but lets compare the competition, the people mcgregor fought and had to beat were the best of all time, the people khabib beat were mostly nobodys literally people you cant even name except his last 3 fights in the ufc its ridiculous mcgregors legacy and catalog is lightyears ahead of everyone else even if he had a few losses.

I'm not even a 2020 fan, I'm a 2024 fan. Growing up, I mainly paid attention to Heavyweight Boxing. As for MMA, I did hear about Conor McGregor during the Khabib saga, so my ignorance is abundant. That said, most people nowadays, especially the Khabib fans, get so testy and whingy when Conor gets mentioned. Compared to how Heavyweight boxers treated each other after their fights, who show great respect for their opponents, even though they said some vile things to one another during the build up (especially Muhammad Ali), it appears to be night and day. Granted, social media wasn't around back then, and most people treated Sonny Liston like trash, so it could be the same, but I don't feel like that's the case anymore. To wrap up, it's so ridiculous that people who are new to the sport don't have the respect for those that came before that they should.

That’s pretty cool Chael, but don't let that distract you from that fact that In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team.

I don't understand how you can call that a lucky shot when he told everyone fightweek EXACTLY how he was going to win, described the exchange down to a T, and it played out exactly how he said it would, the over reach, the counter shot. Theres also footage of him warming up drilling it over and over again just before the fight. At this level, there is no such thing as a lucky shot. You see lucky shots in smokers, in amatuar boxing clubs, you don't see lucky shots at the highest level. To qoute the great Freddie Roach; "Pro fighters do not make mistakes, they are creatures of habbit." Conor seen that habit, Conor told the world about that habit, Conor told the world how he would exploit that habit, he even told Aldo to his face, and he did. Nothing lucky about it at all.

@@mattdavis37 I appreciate your elaborate reply. I’d say good luck telling Aldo how you’re going to punch him and then actually do it as predicted. You’d be either very lucky (because Aldo did not take you seriously and didn’t prepare for it), or incredibly…. I don’t even know how to call it, but it could’ve been just that, in which case you would be right sir. But please concede back to me that there is a chance for luck as well. And I maintain that wrestling and grappling wise Connor stands behind a lot (if not most) of the top 10 guys in his targeted divisions (55 and 70). Nonetheless, Connor definitely left his mark on the sport and will be remembered as one, if not its biggest star ever (he sure still is until this day).

Great fighter but Ronda was better. A 14 second arm bar is more impressive than a 13 second KO. Defended the title more times, and many experts have stated that she would have beaten Floyd, unlike Conor. Also, Expendables 3 was a superior movie to Conor's Roadhouse. Swayze version was better and everybody knows this. Conor did achieve immortality by coining the term window sheen tho.

CM has been done and I do t know why anyone still talks about him. He did something cool and became successful but he thinks he’s better than he is and he’s been finished more than once. Again, he’s good but not great. The things he’s done and said (like punching an old man) should have turned everyone against him! Bottom line is I believe he’s afraid of tarnishing his legacy even more by taking an L so he avoids fights. But he wants to still try and stay relevant so he talks all this nonsense. He did something special, he should be happy with that and humble himself…n stay sober! I think he’s having trouble not being on top.
