I really don't want to hear Chael jut out very quick commentary during fights. I think that limits him where his strengths are. I think ESPN knows that, and they have placed Chael in great positions where I really enjoying watching and listening to him: 1. Post fight analysis and interviews, and 2. The Good Guy / Bad Guy Show.

It doesn't surprise me much in this moment. Looking at a tape of that guy as I did this week and realizing Francis is coming off a brutal ko I feel like it's a coin toss. It's not a matter of who Francis was when he beat Stipe. It's a matter of who is he now in an MMA fight after all this time focusing on boxing and after just being KO'd brutally. Don't know. I'd set the odds even.

I think Feirreira will knock Francis out in the first round, or Francis will win a decision. Francis has always been a bit robotic in his movements, while Ferreira is loose and fluid. The speed and athleticism goes to Ferreira. Francis is more technical.

Jon, as we all know, lost his lineal light heavyweight championship when he was tko'd by Chael in the very first round due to a compound fracture in his foot. Chael would later let Fedor get the nod over him out of respect to fedor's career. Fedor went on to lose to Ryan Bader, who went on to lose to Problemo. Francis beating this guy and returning to The UFC is Jon's only route to regaining his lineal world title.

People like to say Renan isn’t elite for his best win being Bader, Bader was always a ranked dude in one of the most stacked lhw divisions in ufc history, got up to a more natural weight class and beat a lot of great fighters including Fedor albeit far after his prime, Renan knocked him out before I got back from my pee break, there’s a real chance Francis loses although that does go both ways since both of them have insane knockout potential
