Great job with Chaguanas, never been there just pass through in the earlier years, which Im sure was not built up at that time. Its a pity though that people can't clean up after themselves. The market area extremely dirty. Nice big unkept buildings. Enjoy ypur Vlogging. Did you happen to hear about the football stand that was built in Skinner Park, TTD 135 million. Same building in Virginia built for 12 million USD and was built stronger too with good material. It's a crying shame on Trinis. 🙏🙏🙏 for T&T

I lived at the top of Funds Amunds when I went to St. Andrews school in Port o spain, I remember that Mrs. Drummond lived just down the road, she was the School Master while I was attending St. Andrews. Just at the top of Funds Amunds the last sharp turn, the home overlooked Bay of Port O Spain. It was beautiful, with a cashew tree at the driveway. Magical.

Really enjoyed this walk through. Once again another city I don’t have memories of going through too much so this was really nice to see. I’m sad to hear about the mental health crisis. We have a mental health crisis here as well. You’re right people just sometimes need to talk to somebody and just express what is going on. I have a special needs child as well and it’s so important to get the help you need. I also agree that in many places Trinidad needs beautifying and upkeep. Especially the side walks and older buildings. When people see more effort placed in their community more people will value it more. Not always but sometimes.
@JBsManCave Жыл бұрын
Camille, thanks for sharing your thoughts on Chaguanas, Trinidad. I very much agree with what you said about the beautification and upkeep and mention that in many of my videos.. Interesting that you also have a special needs child. I talk about this subject in my videos about autism.
@lynch8418 Жыл бұрын
@@JBsManCave thank you. yes my son has autism as well. The interesting thing about autism is that it’s such a vast spectrum. Some autistic people may be much more “obvious” while some people go through their lives having it without being properly diagnosed. I watched some videos where a youtuber is an engineer and didn’t realize he was autistic until he was in his thirties. He brings awareness to people who are high functioning but have struggles and may not understand why. My son is on more of the “obvious” side. He is mostly nonverbal. He says only a handful of words. Is there a specific video that you speak more of autism?

The reason for the electrical wire being high up rather than being on underground it's because that particular area or most area in Trinidad is waterlog electrical and water don't mix However modern technology could allow the government to use lesser wires If there is a budget for it.

Good day, I really love this format and this video, because this was my old stomping grounds 35 years ago since I migrated the states. This was definitely up close and personal. I remember Ramsaran street as having Ramsaran Plaza and a couple buildings across the street, 2001 carpet house and a chinese restaurant, further down a bakery and a super market, not the one attached to RP. Seeing that area was definitely nostalgic. Mid center mall was a liming spot as well as Mario's pizza in RP. Come to think about I've been travelling to chaguanas with my cousins from the age of 13 to go cinema, Jubilee, Aircolite and Big B/central. I remember chicken unlimited (CD) and a couple other stores. My parents had friends that live on the back side of Yeves street and as kids we used to spend the night and then walk through the back way cutting through our way to go to the market which at that time was an open ground with little or no shelter when the rain came. I could go on and on, but thanks again for this format and narration.

@@JBsManCave yeah JB man people are shady and some are just full of superstition(which in a way is a gift & curse) in a world where the kids nowadays are super camera/phone centric and don't focus on conversation dinner table etc.,this can create I noticed a habit for children to leave the phone plugged up but not at family meetings or dinner time. I'm just now watching videos from your catalog,JB. But now questions I have a large group of guys looking for wives/gf's (*as you can probably imagine my next question as I understand you're a married man but how are the women there? Be honest,brethren. I say this not to sound creepy or like a s3x tourist but there are guys genuinely wanting something different from what is in the states,bruv 😞☺️ Please if you can I would love your input on the matter.

I personally find that the sidewalks/pavements should be tiled like they are in Latin America. I know that it is a bit expensive but will make the place look attractive

I also find that they should ban the use of galvanize for urban development unless it is a stall. The galvanize roofs make the place look ghettoish
