As a Cambodian, I am grateful for your random interviews to witness the reality of Cambodia, which was generally misunderstood. The interviews will surely pave ways to attract more tourists to come and reclaim the positive images of Cambodia. I have no objections that Cambodia is not 100% safe for all, not only the visitors, so do the other countries. This is a fact, but some people have held a negative view reported by some extremists

After 2 years in the Philippines 🇵🇭 I just now came to Cambodia for 2 weeks. Siem Reap is a really nice place. I don’t mind the touristy places so much because they also tend to be very walkable. Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples are a bucket list trip. How ever I went to see Koh Ker Temple in the north and I think it was so much better than the Angkor Wat. Less crowded and more local people. Lyong Yong Transportation is a local driver and was awesome. A cooler full of cold water and cool towels to help with the heat. Koh Ker is a pyramid very similar to the Mayan Pyramids in the west. The Khmer people are very friendly. The food is awesome and the country is very cost effective for vacations or longer stays. I could easily live here. Overall safety is good. Just do the normal things. Keep your cross body bag close. Keep your eyes open. Keep your things secure. Safe travels 🙏🏻

Dude, but most importantly thank you for your time and effort to help dispel any negative thoughts especially from those that have never even been here. We all come here and some, like myself stay, because of the people and they most certainly deserve a chance at a much better life thanks to tourism and it's trickle down effect. Good style bro. Dam you Dutch are cool. So worldly and easy going from all that we've meet at our restaurant. Thank you so much Chai and I hope our paths will cross again soon. Warmest regards from Anut and John.

I am living in Battambang and have lived here for 10 years. Right now the streets are a mess. Dirt roads and dust everywhere. This is not normal Battambang. The city is doing an expansion of drainage for the rainy season and at the same time a sewer system. Please if you come here remember this is a major upgrade and for the moment many roads are dirt and possibly being worked on. This is all only temporary. Out of my 10 years of being here this is the only time I have seen the roads as dirt. Mostly cement or black top. This is the safest city in the world! Boring family safe city and very safe. I mostly think of this as a city of education. Many good schools/universities. Come to Battambang, relax for a while then back into the helter skelter of vacation.

So I and all Thais responded by calling Cambodia as "Claimbodia". They don't know the word "copyright". They copy Thai people's work and claim it as their own.
