Please make a video same as this with *imported chain model* from another CAD like software as well as *imported curve* (precisely done in CAD software). I was trying and follow your tutorial but doesn't seems to be work in my case.

It can work but instead of bringing the whole chain just bring a pair and make the custom curve as shown in video

use simple circumference of pitch gear (pi*m*t) m is module and t is teeth (remember when use gear generator module property and teeth property use that)

Aprecciate your lesson, all simple and easy! I need to animate aproximately 40 chains on a big roller conveyor model, and i think i'd do crazy doing it one by one upd: it seems obvious, but if you have 2 identical gears -- you can use "rotation_euler/33" (33 is just number that worked for me)
