It could be people just don't know he exist, after all I ran into people who didn't know what a "Waboku" is, and were impressed it protects any monster of yours being destroyed by battle but also makes any damage you take ZERO. That buys you a turn, and in the meta giving your opponent even one more turn can cost you the game.

I just watched a “Duel Live” between this burn deck and Exodia deck. I think the Exodia was more toxic. The burn deck lowered the opponent’s life point to 800 and the Exodia almost drew his whole deck but only stopped when he had all 5 cards in his hand.

I use a variation of this deck and i must say when this deck has a brick hand it is very hard to recover. Its like no recover at all honestly but it is fun to play. I use marshmellon and chain beast in my version.

I got one similar as well, mine bricks very rarely but still happens on ocaison and instead of the back jacks, i got 3 trap tricks to pull any trap i want if it pops up as well as 3 cease fires, basically just another just dessert but your effect monster bumps the damage further

I honestly love this deck, when I'm not paired against Drytron, VW or Tri-Brigade i.e one in every 10 duels; out of *those* I open both copies of Pot of Prosperity and/or Desires, and 1 Michion/Back Jack (which gets swiftly negated assuming it doesn't get SS2 banished) every other time. Pair that with losing *100%* of coin tosses and being forced to go second (sounds good because you draw a card, doesn't really pan out how you want if your hand is shit and you're staring down 3+ negates) and it honestly feels like RNG has it out of you sometimes. Don't even get me started on the wretch-worthy, stupidly toxic Lair of Darkness deck I came up against earlier, you don't know pain until you've faced it. I didn't open a single burn card apart from Ring of Destruction & Dimension Wall, which were both useless because of Lilith's SS2 tribute effect. I couldn't use Michion because she'd get tributed by applying Lair's passive to Lilith's tribute effect; I couldn't use Back Jack because they flipped Solemn Judgement the moment I tried to proc its effect. I stg it was like someone dangling a briefcase filled with a small fortune (them halving their LP when I'm running a burn deck) for me to take, but instead absolutely smashing my balls with a sledgehammer (not drawing any useful burn cards and getting slowly poked to death by the aptly named 'Torment Tokens' summoned from Lair's effect) over and over and over and over again. I felt genuinely helpless because of how bad this *one* particular matchup was but it was like playing against an Eldlich player on steroids.

Alternatives Burn: Magic Cylinder, Blazing Mirror Force (You have it on the hero duel, though it's not on the deck list at the beginning). Draw: Reckless Greed, Cardcar D, Legacy of Yata-Garasu. Protection: Battle Fader, Swift Scarecrow.

Did you ever think about using Satellerknight Alsahm? He has the ability when he is summoned he just does 1000 damage to your opponent. Although of course his stats aren’t the best so you’d be asking to get hit but either way you have a very trap centered deck so maybe it would work out regardless?

problem is that master duel has no BEST OF 3 duel, so no sidedeck. and you have a oneshot surprise opponent. but once you realize it is a burn deck, u simply summon 2 monster a turn and direct attack and stop it.

Crooked Cook Exodia is the most toxic deck I've made so far. Literally drop Cook with Right Hand Shark and the only way around it is to find a way to tribute my monster, or piercing damage. So I just draw for half an hour until the other person surrenders or I draw into all 5 pieces of Exodia. I honestly hate myself for playing it, but I hate Eldlich players more so 🤷🏾‍♂️

Chain strike looks at the chain and sees if there is a duplicate card already there. Since there is only 1 chain strike currently on the chain there aren't any duplicates until after you use the 2nd one.

just opened master duel for the first time. made this as my very first deck. played tutorial stuff for all the loot and such so i could buy packs and craft the cards. my very first games i played 5 in total against friends that are currently already in high elo and play for few weeks. im rookie 2 just went to rookie one, cause i got first turn , played pot of duality, this guy saw chain strike and timelord, legit insta surrendered. ty for free elo, very good stuff, i will update this post with my progress.

The most stressful comeback I've had was a recent duel. Was starting to chain SP summon Galaxy Eyes to the field when my opponent hit me with a Nibiru, Primal Being. I cried out a NO! as my dragons went to the GY and he placed down that 3000ATK. Then my token was created with 9400ATK/8500DEF...and I'm sitting there going uhhhhhh. He ended up losing to the asteroid he created for me. I think we were both confused and really didn't know what to do 🤣
