Are those chains with that lock suitable for a yamaha fz1 1000cc sport bike? I once purchased one because it was very cheap, I never used for going more than 60mph, my mother sold my bike with that chain, I hope the buyer replaced the chain. Ebay said that that chain was suitable for my bike.

Clips on the right way but *WHY* would you not clean your chain first? Looks gritty as hell. That's more friction wear and speed you are losing. You can feel the difference when you run a clean oiled chain vs this dirt covered thing.
@Oneminutetofixit Жыл бұрын
I agree. I was done replacing the inner tube and just set up a quick video. I should do a chain cleaning and lube video. I've had enough people comment on the horrible chain😆. I do ride on sand so a dry chain doesn't attract grinding dust as bad. I have a video with one of my other cycles. That one is kept clean....

@Oneminutetofixit Жыл бұрын
Could be a couple things, clip installed in the proper direction, chain properly tensioned so it doesn't flex and slap around, chain might be stretched so the clip doesn't grab the pins good enough to hold on, something coming into contact with it like a chain guard.

@Oneminutetofixit Жыл бұрын
@@jarrodwatson7933 agreed, in extreme use and high stress it does matter. Most people never get close to that. It's absolutely imperative in moto gp racing, drag racing and any racing to set up everything correctly so it doesn't fail.

if your riding a super sport your better off riveting the master link, wouldnt trust that clip at 14,000 rpms
@Oneminutetofixit3 ай бұрын
What we're looking at here is a honda 80 dirtbike. About 650 rpm at the rear axle is all it will ever see. Engine rpm and rear wheel rpm is greatly different. A Sport bike wheel spins at only 1400 rpm for every 100 mph. Still not that fast. Industrial use puts chains under way more stress.
