And i couldn't get the thing back in, after over an hour. But seeing your technique, i got a punch, small magnet and bolt and a pean hammer and bang two blows and i got the pin past the first hole, and i was then able to hit it again and then put it into the chain breaker and get it back in fully. Wow. Thank you. Simple but very useful. I would not have thought of the magnet. You should add a tag for "how do i put the pin back in my bike chain" and you will get more hits. lol
