Setting up the chain mortiser for the green oak framing prior to cutting tenons on the braces. (I needed the offset of the mortiser for tenon width).
Second part of the video I'm off baling some Hay with the Krone Big Pack 1270 Multi bale.
Enjoy

Typical British understatement - slightly annoying. I find it so interesting so see ‘behind the scenes’ and get human interest stories, Oliver. So much hard work and angst. I’m sitting here with my feet up after what I consider a hard days work and you guys work from dawn to dusk. You have my undying admiration 🌞

You’re a very clever fella Oliver. Multi functional is an understatement 😅 All interesting stuff in this video. I found the bailing quite calming, a bit like mowing on steroids. So much technology in those machines nowadays. Makes chain mortising look a bit tame 😂 Great content all the same, cheers Oliver 👍🏻

Very interesting video from all angles, I've never seen a chain mortiser or knew how hay was bailed or that you did other things other than fine craftmanship joinery thanks for sharing

Probably bad wording, the baler deserves 150 minimum hp for any type of banked work, it's done really bloody well to be fair to it!

Count yourself lucky fella, a couple of junkies live next door to me, but I would be irritated with your predicament also. If I move house in the future, the house will be detached af. Excellent content as usual Oliver, cheers.

Last year we had 5 times as much good hay as this year, we get the rain that didnt fell in the uk mostly. Will be an expensive winter since we generally need all the feed. Hope you can air it enough

Wondering if you received a diversification grant to set up your joiners shop? Loving the new format.

Great video. Comfy in a John Deere whereas I spent most of Dec. 2021 raking hay in Australia driving a Massey Ferguson 135 from 1970. No cab or even foam on the seat & it was scorching. As with your baler our much smaller one broke down but being only 20 years old it was fixed in the field (not by me) & will hopefully keep going for another 10 or 20 years

I liked the 2:27. Is the second machine another Krone? I think ‘One Lonly Farmer’ on here runs Krones too. They used to be known to be rock solid so sorry to hear it’s been problematic.
