Hammer Time 🔨 😎

Theres a couple of DIY wind vanes on the Wharram catameran site .... and Wharram cat. Akari just ised a piece of elastic to keep a set course. You need a bit more of a breeze... do you think you might head to Portugal next year or do you want go further into the Med.

we are thinking about that solution, wind vane would be easy for the boat and for the batteries :) we still dint decide where to go!

Are those split chain connectors as strong as the chain

We were also doubting them, but then we asked around and people reassured us.

@ I guess, strong enough, but not as strong as the chain. The main issue is chain wear. So keep an eye on it

My comment : Simple and strong autopilot : Look at Milo Tiller pilot if one day you have to change

At cruising speed, a simple wind vane will be fine.
