Aly actually is much better on beam now than she was then. Her routines are usually rock solid lately!

To "akhmad wicaksono". Please don't send me comments. Ally is a phenomenal gymnast. I have no idea what kind of problem you have with her, but she is excellent

She's not flexible nor artistic. So no, she's not excellent

She has great skills and is def overall solid (obviously, there were errors) but she's so athletic and really goes hard....but I almost feel like it's too "routine". like the commentator said-- she's obviously done this a million times. Nothing against Aly (esp. since this comment can apply to so many gymnasts, IMO), but so many routines look uninspired-- like all the skills are just being "thrown" and not performed

I think it's usually just choreography in general that needs to be low on the beam, she does it after one of her leaps

@mfsx5ip2 Yeah I didn't think it was quite hit. I think she definitely always gets cleanly around, but the Christine was right saying she was being tentative with the split position (and amplitude too IMO). She definitely hits the splits before the back tuck though, and it doesn't seem terribly hard when she does, so I'm not sure why they were off for a lot of the routine.

She remiended me JUST a LITTLE to Shawn johnson... She's faster than Jodyn as Shawn was ... She hasn't got Shawn's strengh though!

She can attack the skills but her artistry is just so cringey. Her going down low on the beam just screams to the judges “I’m only doing this because it’s a requirement.” She didn’t even try to make it a nice piece of choreography
