No. The ropes started more from Run Dmc & LL Cool J. And Slick Rick brought the chain game to a new level with all the pieces he had chains, rings etc. U just jumped from the 80's to 96 u need to do more research the 80's and early 90's wasn't just big rope chains. No mention of the bike chain, herringbone, Gucci link, cuban, etc...
