Great video! I liked that you started with the advantages of chains/bands in addition to weights. The programming tips are very straightforward. A very thorough and inspiring video, thank you!

Question A. How do I attach the blue straps to the barbell and then to the chain, and do the blue straps come with a collar to keep the straps secure to the barbell with the 45 pound plates??

Question B. How many straps would you link together to attach to the barbell and then to the chains??

Not supposed to lose tension at the bottom of the banded squat. Matt Wenning would 💩 if he saw that lol

What if there might be more than one way to skin the cat and coach different concepts 🤷🏼♂️ But I hear ya, if that’s how you’ve learned and like to program/perform then proceed. Beau has his methods and rationale as most coaches do.

@@thatfitfriend I get it but you still should never lose band tension.

@@michaelderenne9838 Think a lot comes down to intent/load being used, tbh. You also have to consider the pop being trained and their eccentric overload capabilities and the goals of the bands. This list can go on Again, differences in programming styles...we can agree to disagree for certain training contexts. I would never say "never" regarding programming, honestly. Too much nuance out there for definitives.
