Many thanks, it's a great saw, plenty of torque, but for blocking out on carving jobs, it goes through the batteries too quickly. Used it for cutting up firewood the other day at got a lot longer use out of it.

yeah, there's a lot of info about msa300, but mostly about it cutting up firewood and i would use it mostly for carving, i guess you would need at least 3 batteries, specially when carving outside in the winter time :) Thanks for the heads up!
