Only venomous snake found in Michigan. They are smaller than most rattle snakes. I have seen them three to four feet long.. They are a protected species in Michigan They need a special habitat. Usually not too far from water or swampy areas.

A gentleman from Ok carved it and donated it to me during my recovery after combat injuries to my legs.
