George is one of the first people that’s ever genuinely sympathize with Ben, and actually has the experience to do so. Like some people shows sympathy for Ben, but George is the first one who’s like “Yeah, everyone’s always telling you not to do things your way. But doesn’t that suck, don’t you think you’re right?” Quite interesting to see someone challenge Ben in the regards that he’s actually siding with him, and trying to get him to see that they have very similar perspective, whereas Ben is usually used to everyone telling him he’s wrong, and he has to do the right thing, which is usually not what Ben wants. But here, someone has said to him “No, you’re right. You’ve always been right. Everybody else is wrong.” No one has ever spoken to Ben like that, and it worked. Ben listened to him

George speaks to Ben like an equal, not like a child. Even Max talked to Ben like a student. But George is able to look into Ben's eyes and say "I understand you!"

Plus the "Watchmaker" part makes it even more fitting.

In my book, the sword's power has already corrupted George. Regardless of his goals, he's NOT a good guy. Maybe he was once but not anymore. He created a gang of psychopaths who are just as xenophobic as him and even after being alive for centuries, he still hasn't realized that not all aliens are bad. He's also incredibly arrogant thinking that he can beat Diagon again. If there's one thing I've learned about immortal characters, it's that you can't trust anyone that lives as long as they have, not ever. Staying alive for thousands of years really does a number on the brain.

They really added the horror vibe there when Azmuth shows the trio George's battle with Dagon. Makes you wonder what did they see that even made Kevin suggest to not involve in this

@MrMisterman1 Doubt it was just that. Kevin lived on the streets of a big city and the null void and definitely saw some things. No way the act of cutting out a heart is dong anything to him

The fact that George is immortal does explain something about the Forever Knights, why they are called that; it is likely that when they were founded they were callled something along the lines of "The order of the Forever Knight", which evolved into Forever Knights over time.

Underrated thingy about this ep: the last episode portrayed George defeating Dagon as colorful as a fairytale (Forever Knight propaganda) whereas reality in this ep is so disgusting even the main trio can’t watch.

I understand your confusion on George' age, as the last episode heavily implied that George was still alive because the sword was keeping him from dying. I don’t 100% recall if they do explain how he lives so much longer than the average human being outside of what’s implied, and because this arc was written close to Dwayne's demise I doubt we'll ever know what that reason was.

I absolutely LOVE this episode just for the Azmuth and George lore. Their interactions with Ben are also great in wanting him to be better and understand how they play into this. Also, A-Z. Azmuth and Zenith? Just too cute.

George founded the order of the Forever Knights to stop against any paranormal and terrestrial threats, however they couldn’t distinguish civilian aliens from actual monsters and viewed them all as sub humans.

I'm not crazy about a lot of the additions UAF made to the lore of Ben 10, but I love this change for Azmuth. It really adds a lot of depth to his character. It shows that even the smartest being in the universe can have his moments of stupidity. And Jeff Bennett does such a great job at delivering it all. Also, the episode features a guest appearance from Tress MacNeille as the voice of Zennith. Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Rugrats, Hey Arnold, Futurama, etc.

The planet that was destroyed was the Incursion homeworld, the frog aliens that love war. The ones that appeared in Alien X’s debut.

The reason Fasttrack was used in Ultimate Alien was because XLR8 was difficult to animate in the UA artstyle.

The scene where it cuts away from showing George fighting Dagon I can’t help but think “do you not remember what Ben did to the Big Tick in Classic”, which leads to a bit of an issue with UAF as in many cases when this series tries to tackle more mature themes the writers tend to forget what happened in Classic leading to the characters coming off as less emotionally mature and more naive than they did in Classic partially around the subject of body horror and killing.

🔥 Wow, this episode was intense! The way Ben faced off against the antagonists while dealing with his own doubts had me on the edge of my seat! 😱 I loved seeing how far he’s come as a hero. A big lore dump episode, which adds more to the series in a lot of ways. Fasttrack is great and XLR8 is great too, but I just feel there's a little more versality in FT than XLR8. Azmuth used to be dumb teenage just like Ben, but he matured, there's hope for Ben yet

George knows Azumuth, Azumuth tells Ben to fight, everybody be dunkin on Fasttrack, also Ascalon is way cooler than we realized probably Top 10 swords along with He-Man's power sword & the Thundercat's Sword of Omens. Azumuth was a bad boyfriend & terrible partner but he's working on it. Ben & George's relationship is an interesting dynamic

Agreed! Ascalon's really friggin' cool, shame we don't get to see all that much of it. We should totally make a "Top 10 Most Legendary Swords" List or something, though I have a hard time with Top-10 Lists in general, because it's hard for me to place my favorites in a Top-10 like that, my scoring sometimes changes, and Top-10s don't usually allow for ties, even though I think some things would be tied with other things. For that reason, I'm more into Ranking and Tiering Lists, where you got a set of Tiers, and then each example gets placed in a Tier. So like, for Ranking SuperWeapons in Fiction, I'd say the Omnitrix goes in the S+ Tier alongside the Infinity-Gauntlet and Green-Lantern Power-Rings, since all three of them have potentially INFINITE Versatility and Phenomenal Cosmic-Powers of Universal, or even Multiversal Scope.

Daigon is an eldritch abomination unlike the normal dragon from prior, more like a demon from lovecraftian lore such as Cthulhu, monsters that defy normal human description and comprehension.

Not really because Episode 25 and Episode 26 are dark episodes. Episode 24 is Funny. Episode 27 2 important things and 1 Easter Egg. Episode 28 Depends on his mood and Episode 29 was just basically another episode of Classic.
