Full ridgelaps are very hygienic when done properly! I don't know what kind of dentists you regularly speak with, but I have been making teeth for 24 years and I have worked with some extremely good dentists in that time, many of them prefer the full ridgelap over the modified ridgelap because the modified can trap food. But I am only here to gather information on what names you guys have given to the pontics. I have never in 24 years heard the name "fish belly pontic" and I just got a new doctor that was using you and she used that name. Haha! It is CRAZY how we are doing the same thing and yet we are separated by a linguistic divide! Good video though, I got my answer!

"it's common for the pontic design not to be chosen, despite the fact that on the prescription form there is a check box for it"..........and it's also common to check the box for the pontic design that you want, only for it to be ignored, and have a completely different pontic design fabricated. I know, believe me.
