Prabhu, I’m a lawyer and I have seen thousands of these cases. Hindu personal law was drafted in a manner to destroy the Hindu society from all sides. And this is the consequence of the same. As compared to Muslim personal law, man oh man, people from their community have been given free hand in how marriage and abuse should take place.

Gonna share a perspective here , we don’t know what drove this woman to say “ okay commit suicide “ . Not trying to defend her or anything but every coin has two sides . She may have experienced enormous amount of torture to say what she has said . & yes he could have handled the situation better . Both parties to blame .

No because if he did he would have found any other way but suicide . So maybe you get a life . & this is not a rape case , this is a case of a coward man committing suicide.
