Peter Cetera was just blessed with an abundance of talent. Terrific songwriter, bassist, and that golden voice. He makes it look easy, but it is NOT easy to sing what he sings. Great tone, superb range.

Does everyone remember that Chaka Khan sang on the ending of "Take Me Back to Chicago"? The only original band Chicago song that had a female vocalist with the exception of "Skinny Boy" which was made for Robert Lamm's solo album and the women in the chorus for "Harry Truman" Now that I think of it, all three of those songs were Lamm songs.

Take Me back to Chicago was written by Danny Seraphine and Hawk Wolinski. The Pointer Sisters sang background on Skinny Boy from Chicago vii.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this song!! I remember when it came out in '91 or '92 made me think of the "love of my life" at the time...we had separated and I was missing him so badly..... and this song was just captured the sense of longing I felt for him...I had it on a cassette with "Man In Me" & "Even A Fool Can See" and a couple songs by Jon Secada...I wore this tape out!

Definitely not from the Arsenio Hall Show. I saw that particular episode back in '92 and Branford Marsalis positively butchered the saxophone solo. Branford's not in this clip and the video is of much higher resolution than any videotape from Arsenio's show. The uploader needs to get his facts straight.

+Cory Bangerter arsenio';s signature is near the end and i doubt this clip was doctored so i';d say the performance was on his show. and top of that, chaka and peter are interviewed by arsenio in the second part of this clip.

Dave, could you answer where Branford was? I've seen a clip with him playing the song's sax solo and there is no doubt it was Arsenio's show. It too had tag information identifying it as such. Thanks for the correction anyway. You don't have to be such a taint about it.

if branford wasn't in this clip and i don't remember him being in it then he couldn't have performed on the taping of the arsenio hall show as i doubt peter and chaka performed this song on arsenio twice on air. and i'll just ignore the 'taint' remark which was uncalled for.

They sang it better live on Jay Leno, they both crack a bit here, on Leno they were just about pitch perfect, the sax solo was butchered on both renditions.
