Chakapa Spirit Cleansing - Ceremony music | Calm

Chakapa it's a spirit cleansing and healing ayahuasca, changa, dmt ceremonial and music instrument. Used by Peruvian, Amazon shamans or curanderos. The sound of the chakapa cleans the energy surrounding the patient. The chacapa is rattled over the patient’s body to capture the bad spirits in a chakapa, it is then blown out of the leaves into the forest. The spirits are distributed and taken in by all nature such as trees and plants. Chakapa it's a Quechua word.

I am a trauma therapist and I want to tell you how much I appreciate your content. I incorporate traditional sounds in my guided meditations with patients and clients. The last thirty minutes are an eyes closed (mine and theirs) guided meditation with symbolic reconnection and release. The whole while I am giving them imagery to see, I tone a 22-imch crystal bowl and switch to a 11-inch Tibetan singing bowl. I only use a thick padding stick to strike either. I have a nice sound system and play something from Calm Whale. I am adding the chakapas to my list. You're the real deal! 😄🌲
