Just for everyone's information route from Saharanpur was ok but patches were very bad. Route via Ponta Sahib is slightly longer but better in my view. Reliance is not the last PP in Kurwa. They are mis-advertising and strangely no one objects. The old Indian Oil PP is another 500m-1km ahead of it. After that once you reach Chakrata Market, you can go towards Chirmiri Peak but at the last "Y" cross-section from where left road takes you to Chrimiri, take the right one road instead and about 10 mins ahead there is a BP Petrol pump. A few more properties are there to stay including Hosteller. I have stayed at quite a few places in Chakrata (with great views as well) but feel this property where you stayed looked super amazing to me.
