Hello friend, your journeys are a grace to me and my friends! The circular Steele could represent a volcano in the center. Perhaps ancient man learned of or witnessed a great event. A theory about the shields. The center ring is the sun, rays going down to give the light to the crops below. The spheres at 12 3 and 9 oclock are the moon cycle. One is even black to indicate new moon, ones has rays to indicate it is different than the one opposite, and one of them shows the otherwise buried phase (usually covered by the rays) by being slightly off set to the left. Maybe it was believed to bring a better harvest, and if that was the case, then the scale and quality could have been symbolic.

and maybe its a calendar - notice the 7 lines at "Spring" - and then 7 rays from the sun? but whats the blackness from the upper moon pouring down on the middle sun? are they showing an eclipse? An eclipse is pretty amazing and would be a spiritual experience I am sure.

Hey Alex I’m thinking the three similar shield designs are rudimentary calendars. Each one a refinement of the previous with the most detailed being the latest. The year is divided into the long vertical lines and the “weeks” the marks on the edge of the circle. with the hatch line below being a guide showing which parts of the calendar were most productive for sustenance. The fist lines indicating game, the middle the growth of plants and the last part the barren part of the year with no symbols above the vertical lines.

these rock formations seems like an ancient structure to me, the flat surfaces, square shapes that fit perfectly (5:30, 7:21, 10:57, etc) show these could be some kind of ancient megalithic ruins. lot of talk of "melted buildings" on the internet now, perhaps the plasma events depicted could have had something to do with it, the natives trying to say "this is what happened to this structure"

Plenty of rattlers out there, I'm sure, but your snake a long, lean and harmless "gopher snake." (A lot of the country calls them "bull snakes.") Please Do Not Kill them! They are entirely beneficial. (I add, I wish folks wouldn't kill the rattlers, either, but they are dangerous.) ps: If your dog is really harassing a gopher snake they do have an emergency behavior of mimicking a rattler by puffing up with air and hissing loudly, but they never, ever have rattles.
