The French piece is gorgeous! I have no idea how you chose the complimentary colors but they are perfect for the French country look. I’m glad you removed the animal detail at first that was smart. In Florida our furniture is usually beachy colors or neutral, it’s so interesting to watch your work which is totally different than what I’m use to. Always look forward to your videos.

I normally clean the pieces adding some detergent and vinegar to water. That is all I do to prepare. Thank you for watching! Your support means a lot to me.

I love what you have done. I have French dresser with a boutique of flowers up top and details all over. I would like to do something like this but lighter or whiter. What do you suggest?

Great idea! it could be Annie Sloan chalk paint Old Ochre, Paris Grey and Old white. I am also thinking of painting a dressing table and might be using Coco as a base color following with old ochre and old white; that will make it lighter but also warmer than the combination I've mentioned above.
