I wasn't sure where this was going as I watched you paint layer after layer of such different colors, but in the end, this piece is fantastic! No wonder Annie Sloan chose you for this challenge. I love your technique with the rubber window cleaner. Thanks also for telling your story.💯💯💯💯

Thank you so much! Painting a layer after layer is the only way to achieve tangible depth and complexity of colors. It is a simple concept but can be quite challenging. I am glad you had patience to keep watching!

Truly enjoyed watching you develop this piece, layer over layer. It surprised me that you began using such contrasting colors, that you made work with the white textured topcoat. The texture you created on the top was dynamic. Yes, you are an artist and I'm so happy that you appeared on my feed. Looks like I'll be spending some time watching more of your videos. Congratulations on being chosen for Annie's competition, well deserved!.

I am at a total loss for words. Your unique technique for color blending is mezmerizing to say the least. The build up of color layers and magically blending them is intriguing to watch with a result so captivating. I love your work and admire your creativeness and artistic talent that is so well beyond comprehension. Work like this leaves me wishing to do this myself, but realize it takes a gifted artist as yourself to achieve such a high level of perfection.

This is beautiful and I enjoy watching your videos ever so much for relaxation and pleasure, but also for inspiration. I love the use of salt or sawdust for texture and distressing. Colors come as a struggle for me and your use of color is magic how they work together, so your tutorials also give me ideas for combinations and how to use different techniques. Each of your pieces is unique and speaks for itself, each in a different way. I have a number of pieces to paint and have been in a quandry of how to treat them.

I am always pleasantly surprised by the layer-upon-layer technique and how it creates such age and depth to a simple/modern piece. Your furniture projects are amazingly transformed to perfection and classical beauty that can't be surpassed. Your eyes and heart treat each piece with great intention and succeed beyond belief. I find it difficult, but now am beginning to realize that each layer has a purpose, to imagine what the end result will be by the use of such colors and combined with tecniques that convey an undeniably beautiful look. There seems to be a rhyme or reason for everything you do. I wish I had discovered you sooner to enjoy what you do. Thank you for coming to my attention! I LOVE this piece, along with others I have seen created by you.

Your pieces are magic to the eyes as you carefully and realistically achieve an aged look to furniture through layers of paint and varying technigues which all tie in together so beautifully. I can't get enough of your videos and the tutorials are splendid and give so much insight and inspiration. The world of painting furniture has taken leaps and bounds with chalk paint since I was involved before its popularity and I am now excitedly inspired to get back into furniture art. You are a great inspiration and thank you for sharing and keep producing your works of art!
