As an Eagles fan that lives outside of Philly, it’s a great city I visited last year for the first time against the cowboys. I highly recommend getting the closest hotel as possible to the stadium and just walk to the stadiums for the games. You’ll know certain areas behind the freeways where to stay away from cause of homeless people. The Main Streets in Philly you’re totally fine cause there’s a lot of tourists. Go see the rocky statue and see the liberty bell. Other than the homeless people behind weird alleys you’ll be safe in Philly. Just stay on the main streets of neighborhoods wherever you’re even at night and you’ll be fine.

The field DEFINITELY reminded me of Super Bowl 57. Saquon played a hell of a game! No preseason reps really showed. They need at least a few snaps in the preseason to knock off the rust. The Brotherly Shove may be dead. I'll wait till week 5 to see. I can't expect Jurg to be Kelce or run the play the same when he had years of running it and this was Jurgs first attempts. Jalen looks good but needs better field awareness. I have high hopes for him and the team. Secondary looked much better but the front still can't tackle runners. That stadium was PACKERS NATION. I was there and could barely hear Eagles fans lol. Prayers go up for Love! Hell of a game. Refs wildin with them penalties. Cowgirls, the Green Bay tail kicking has got to feel even worse now lmao. The sack Lane gave up was entirely related to him not sensing the snap count. That's the biggest thing I noticed (on the "normal" plays). The line hasn't yet gotten the feel for when Cam will snap it, so their protection is a little more disjointed than last year. We'll get there.

This is a fair assessment. More than anything, I loved seeing legitimate LB play for the first time in years. Rusty on offense, but came through when it mattered. On better grass, Huff (I think?) gets a sack on that long bomb to Reed. Great evaluation, sir.

"Eagles are painful to watch" . Is my Dad's go to saying since I can remember. And we still Love every second and watch every game to the last play because we Bleed Green and live for the thrill of the win! Great team effort to play through a sloppy, slippery field, pre season rust, abundant yellow flags , and a long way from Home. I thoroughly enjoy your unique perspective on the game through the eyes of someone who has more than "paid his dues" and I look forward to another challenging Eagles season with your banter and insight. Aloha & Bless Up!!!!

Chris, when you start talking about being a fan/homer for the birds, you do not have to feel like you will ever be perceived as being fake, or somehow a lesser fan. You don’t have to be humble and say things like “I know I’ve only been here 7 years”. You are a Philly legend, beloved by the community, and in my eyes, you may as well be Benjamin Franklin’s descendant. You’re an Eagle for life!!!

14:20 yes they are actually. Because if they did their research, they would’ve realized that they were playing a game below the equator in which they were going from winter to spring. Remember that Super Bowl they got played in New York? Sure it wasn’t snowy, but the field was very slippery because of all the condensation. I think in the future, we will see last games below the equator with the seasons, having more of a factor than they’ve ever had before. Luckily, I have parents who are from South America and I’ve been down there many times. I remember the first time I went down there. I’m thinking it’s gonna be the same season that it is in America. Nope.
