I had the honor to meet Marlon Wayans and bring him on stage to perform Stand Up when I was the MC and hosting at Marty’s Open Mic in LA. Marlon surprised all of us by dropping in, and he was super kind, humble and supportive of all us comics. He even took a pic with us and posted it on his IG story saying, “Come support creative minds here.” He didn’t have to do all that. He’s truly down to earth and a good hearted man. God bless him and his whole family ❤️

I like how he isn't gonna let us forget Kim's body of work. She's the most underrated Wayan's. They all deserve their roses.
@GlendaClarke-ir2cd2 ай бұрын
Why do people designate the underrated label to certain people? I'm pretty sure that her name rolled in credits, and her work was appreciated and enjoyed by audiences. How then is she ever underrated? Not everyone wants to be upfront all of the time.
@Sunny-tc3ul2 ай бұрын
@@GlendaClarke-ir2cdshe’s underrated because she actually featured in a lot of movies but her parts was so small. She was in A Low Down Dirty Shame. Where she was supposed to win the money from the radio station. Didn’t nobody know that was their sister until you read the credits and seen her name so yea, she’s underrated. She had parts but I don’t remember her in living color but she’s on the cast list. I didn’t know she was in Hollywood Shuffle but she’s on the casting list.

@@GlendaClarke-ir2cd Everyone knows the brothers, a lot less know Kim. Thus, underrated.
@GlendaClarke-ir2cd2 ай бұрын
@@maxxdahl6062 As she's no longer in the forefront, younger folk will not know of her contributions. She's been in more recent television series like Hawaii Five-0 and Criminal Minds, as well as Boomerang. Shows and movies that you and your age group likely don't watch. Anyway, she's had her share of accolades. She's also mid 60's and has most certainly slowed down.
