How far will the Texans make it in the playoffs this season?
@Sivart713Ай бұрын
With mixon and nico healthy they can matchup with KC/Baltimore. It's the defense that i'm worried about. They got smoked by Sam Darnold.

2nd round. KC becomes a demigod in the playoffs
@lille-mary1517Ай бұрын
I can see them in the second round. If it was now I can see Ravens take them out. Or if KC in some magic winning DNA haze, with their best WR’s out. But still can win with WR that other teams did not want at all. But I have a hard time seeing Kelce’s body hold til January or February if all he has beside him is what is there now. He needs to be able to do as last season, be strategic with his efforts during regular season, to take out the last gear in playoffs. But if Mahomes still isn’t secure enough with his left side protection and has to stress out the ball, have stressed mistakes. I can not see Kelce having that luck. And then the Texans can take it.

I was not a big Joe Mixon fan when he was in Cincy. Then he got here and wow. He’s arguably the 2nd most important player on our offense, and by extension, possibly the entire team. The difference in offensive production when he’s on the field is incredible. Dude is a perfect fit for our system. Our offensive line isn’t even elite or anything, but man he just knows when to cut and find the hole. We haven’t seen a back of his quality since Arian foster.

I wish people would ask more questions about the ownership and their desire to bring in talented players that have good characters and strong beliefs. They want to win with high characters on the team from management down to players. Kudos to the McNairs for wanting to wash the bad taste out of the 5 years prior to Demeco, and CJ, also giving Caserio the VP-GM role and also getting the team turned over to them after Janice McMair signed over the team to Cal & Hannah. The Texans are trying build a solid foundational football team.

Gary Kubiak was running the 'San Fransisco' "Kyle Shanahan' offense when the rest of the league didn't know what it was about. Kyle Shanahan was the OC. Mike McDaniel was an offensive assistant. Matt LaFleur, Robert Saleh, Vance Joseph, and Brian Callahan all coached under Kubiak. Kubiak learned the system from Mike Shanahan who put his stamp on Dan Reeves' offensive scheme. Now half the league runs some form of it and the league has had time to catch up to how to stop it, but if Kubes hadn't stuck with Matt Schaub for so long, the Texans would have been amazing back in the day. It was a beautiful thing to watch and the team was so loaded they were at 11-1 at one point. Then Schaub fell apart and it was over. I can't wish they'd kept Gary because he went on to get his Super Bowl and he deserved it, but the collapse of Matt Schaub and that last horrible season wasn't his fault...except in being too damn loyal to his chosen QB. I don't know WHAT I wouldn't give to have that 2011 offensive line back.
