I've been subscribed for a couple months and right when I was about to give up on knife making it was what you say and how you say it that made me push through my slump of defeat. I've had more progress just from listening to what you say then I have from everything else combined. I'm still an amateur at best but I am trying to make enough money to join the ABS and like you to be the ABS master smith that I submit my knife to for the journeyman test. If you don't get too old in the next 3 years. I appreciate what you do and how you do it

I love the challenges. I get back from deployment in July and plan on ramping up my forging. Have some more challenges that I can work on when I get back.

I always enjoy your videos. I am going to start blade smithing soon. All I have left to get is a forge. Watching your videos have taught me a lot. From techniques to types of steel. I can't wait to start making blades. It's going to be an experience for sure.

say Jason...have you ever done the traditional Hot water poured from a teapot edge quench on a kukuri? quenching methods are one of the things that fascinate me and I have been wanting to try this however I do not have the ability to do an edge quench at this time...and my teapot broke. keep up the great content.
