I had a dog named Cookie ( I didn't named her. And she was a beagle.) She was old when we found her and was really old when she died, we think. Anyway, she had a tumor, and apparently it exploded inside of her. We put her down, be because she wouldn't live much longer and would be in pain until she died.

Parker you should get a golden doodle (half golden retriever half poodle) try are so loving and sweet and hardly shed! They are medium sized, very lovable, and weigh around 50-60 pounds full grown. I would definitely get another one if I could. I got mine from a breaded in Virginia called doodle mill or something like that. They are a great breeder and give your dog a beautiful coat!

Parker. You should get Garbils! They're like short-haired hamsters with tails... But they're not rat tails, their tails are fuzzy! I have two, a Piebald Male named Cookie and a Dove Male named Cream! They are also super interactive and easy to care for! I keep mine in a 15G aquarium with a mesh top. Did you know, their pee crystallizes? This means they stink less and have to be cleaned less!

I would recommend a Golden Retriever but they are considered "large" or rather medium sized dogs and they're more expensive to have. But they are loyal and easy to train. Or a Corgi. But they also shed ALOT but on the bright side they are funny dogs like the Golden Retriever. Also, Corgis are small dogs which could be more convenient for you . If you want a small dog, I'd get a yorkinterrier (idk how to spell it) they are energetic, can be left alone for a good amount of time, and are cute and loving! If you want a big dog, I'd get a German Shepard. They are the most loyal dogs like ever, and will literally be your best friend. (You will finally have friends! :D) also, they are beautiful dogs and may even get you the ladies! ;)

If you want to get a dog, I would suggest a Javanese. They're hypoallergenic, meaning most people with allergies towards dogs can be around them. My brother has asthma and he gets along great with the breed. They're so cute and tiny.. and very playful. Bred as a companion dog to the Cuban aristocracy in the 1800s, he’s earned the nickname “Velcro dog” because he sticks so closely to his owner’s side. But don’t write him off as just a lapdog; the Havanese is trainable and surprisingly energetic, and has excelled in dog sports and canine careers ranging from circus performer to assisting the handicapped. They're easily trained and I love them. Just a suggestion.

You should rescue a pit bull. Most people think they are bad dogs, but it all depends on how they were raised. Also fun fact, pit bulls used to be called nanny dogs and they would watch over children. I have a pit bull and she wouldn't hurt a fly, but she is protective and loyal to my family.
