Regardless of the series record I consider it a rivalry game and look for a tough game. I know UK hasn't been very good this season but I remember a many of seasons where we were by far the better team and Tennessee would either have to score in the last minute or make a defensive stand to win the game.

Honestly I find it hard to imagine this game being very close at all. Kentucky has struggled 3 weeks in a row. If they couldn’t beat a 2-5 Auburn team at home, it’s hard to imagine them beating our top 10, 6-1 Vols on the road in what’s going to be an absolutely electric environment.

Tennessee's all time record vs Kentucky is 84 - 26 - 9 and 80 - 32 - 5 vs Vanderbilt. Those aren't rivalries. Those are yearly decapitations. Kentucky hasn't been a rivalry since Paul Bryant was the coach there in the early 50s and Vanderbilt hasn't been competitive since before WWII. I hope Neyland is as loud or louder than it has ever been and Mincey gets the first false start of the game just for talking.

The way Heupel conservatively calls these games, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if he does the same in this one and depends on his defense once again to bail him out in a close low scoring game. I think it is painfully obvious we are missing Alex Golesh. Can't believe all of college football isn't talking about this point. I don't understand why Heupel keeps calling these plays like he does. We have the hardest offense in college football to watch and it should be the other way around. Thank God for Rodney Gardner and Tim Banks.
