Could you guys help me about a question that I have since I started learning English? I've been studying for 1 year, I consider myself almost fluent but I've a lot of aspects to improve yet... For example, if I don't have any English ''certificate'' and even so I know how to speak, Do I really need a certificate to get a job? or they will test my English skills (the employers) I was wondering about that because there are many people who cannot afford these proficiency tests because some of them are expensives.

Good question! So, I think that is different for each kind of jobs. In my area (information technology), they (employers) often get some minutes to get a conversation to verify the "level" of the fluency. I think that a certificate give you a plus, but isn't necessary for all jobs. It can be necessary if you want to be a teacher. Hope that I can help you.

Acho que é melhor utilizar uma plataforma séria mesmo como o Cambly, eu entrei em um aplicativo gratuito para praticar inglês, mas tem tanta gente sem noção. Consegui filtrar 2 pessoas mas mesmo assim, as vezes as pessoas querem conversar em horários que não dá, tem o fuso horário.
