From an ex tankies point of view I would of drove it on forwards and reversed it off

The trailer doesn't have ramps at the back like the Antar or Commander's had. It's a civvy trailer mate. FEAR NAUGHT.

@@PaulEd999 think he means drive the tank forward up onto the ramps opposed to reversing it on...
@PaulEd9994 жыл бұрын
@@paulwalker427 i know how he meant it, I was a Tankie too, Tanks normally go on flat beds pointing towards unless it had a dozer blade. I think my colleague didn't realise that on that particular flat bed the ramps were at the front of the trailer and not at the back like we are used to.

@@PaulEd999 so how does that stop the tank being driven on forwards? unless it cant face off the back of the truck when in transit?
@PaulEd9994 жыл бұрын
@@EthanThomson simple, it doesn't have ramps at the back. I don't know the technical term but, the flatbed itself can disconnect from the part that hooks up to the Tractor unit.

Where has this CR2 been? Doesn't look like standard camouflage. Also, does the white band on the fume extractor still denote tank kills or is that an identification thing.

I'd say it's from Land Warfare Center at Warminster. Most of their stuff is that colour.

Identification for troop 1 strip = 1 as the callsign for this vehicle is 10, each troop up to 4 troops would have the amount of bands ie 2 for 2 troop and so on, but each tank within the troop would also have numbers on the side of turret like this one and would go something like 10/11/12 and then 20/21..... for all 4 troops hope that helps

I wonder if there’s any still alive? I hope they were looked after. They used to empty the NAAFI bar of vodka and yellow handbags the night before a move.
