Warum fahren eigentlich alle Panzer mit der Kanone nach hinten? Wegen der besseren Sicht oder manövrierbarkeit? Wäre nett wenn mich jmd aufklären könnte

Ja, genau so ist es. Bessere Sicht für den Fahrer und der Panzer ist mit Kanone nach hinten viel kürzer. Besonders wichtig in Kurven, engen Straßen oder beim Wenden.

Unter anderem wird dadurch auch die Gesamtlänge des Fahrzeugs reduziert. Nicht ganz unwichtig, gerade beim Abbiegen muss man als Fahrer etwas weniger Platz lassen, um sauber um die Ecke zu kommen.

Never heard the expression before and doesn't seem to have anything to do with tanks. If you google it you'll find this followed by a translation. Seems to be something from historic writings with people like Nieche: _"In Ketten tanzen - zuerst also einen vielfältigen Zwang sich auferlegen lassen durch die früheren Dichter; sodann einen neuen Zwang hinzuerfinden, ihn sich auferlegen und ihn anmutig besiegen: so dass Zwang und Sieg bemerkt und bewundert werden."_ _"Dancing in chains - first of all letting the earlier poets impose a variety of compulsions on you; then inventing a new compulsion, imposing it on yourself, and conquering it gracefully: so that compulsion and victory are noticed and admired."_

Totally agree, it has the best combat record of any tank in the World today, the longest live kill, the best armour and safety/survivability record in the World and let's be honest...... It sounds cool AF, you know, like a proper tank when driving. And the firing mechanics are sublime. All other tanks flinch when firing, the Challenger just pops those shots off, cool as you like.

how odd to see blinkers and stop lights on tanks, is that mandatory in western Europe?

its law when traveling on roads you need lights and indicators but they can all be switched off using the convoy switch on the drivers panel so no lights will show only a small convoy light at the rear of the tank for night moves so the tank in front can be seen whilst the driving is using his night sight closed down

Findet dort in Bergen dann eine gemeinsame Übung statt oder sind die dann dort Stationiert. Frage mich, was da im Hintergrund schon wieder abläuft. ..Sprich Säbelrasseln. Und alles immer quer durch Deutschland. Egal ob es die USA oder die Briten oder oder oder sind. Der Deutsche muss auch überall mitmischen. Ansonsten schönes interessantes Video

Der Challenger II kann selbst dem Leopard 2A4 nicht das Wasser reichen ! Bis der Challenger II oder III mal soweit sein sollte , wird es schon den Leopard 2A10 etc geben !

Leo 2 has a better gun than Challenger 2 but Challenger is more heavily armoured. Also Leo 2 doesn't have a BV

It's a diesel engine, V12, 1200hp. The noise is from the three large cooling fans at the rear of the engine bay.
