The first chase where he escaped was a Tahoe or Explorer ppv...the second chase with the pit was a "5spd" Charger which is more than capable of running down a Scat with an 8spd.

Oh BS, the Charger pursuit is 3-4 hundred pounds heaver and 100 HP lighter than a Scatpack Challenger. That doesn't even get into the torque multiplication difference of the 8 speed.

I recently Googled Dodge Charger Police pursuit vehicle specs, and it showed the 5.7 and 3.6 equipped cars have 8 speed transmissions stock.

I thought the 3.6 AWD has the 8 speed & the 5.7L AWD has 5 speed. I have to do a more recent check - I did a couple of years back & remember pursuits had 5 speed.

@@RTLife Neighbor has a Scat Pak and says that the AWD is not available on them (only on the V6 models) so if you want the AWD jackrabbit acceleration you would have to get the "Trackhawk" version (Jeep Grand Cherokee)

Well some of the charger pursuits can easily reach 150mph to which they are governed to. So unless you got a wide open highway often times these guys will get caught

top speed of the 6.4L 392 Scatpack is 175mph (stock tune). Many of these guys put an unlocked PCM & can push it more

Man Arkansas should have learned why are they driving rt cop cars? When when scats are slow by comparison to what’s stock fast is today let alone modified fast cars 900 whp is easy today nothing special just boltons and e. I mean how many people have gotten away? Lmfao 5 speed auto. I never understood why patrol cars are slow. If anything they should be faster than everything else but it’s never been like this. Poor Reggie at the end of the video pleading with the cop after he screams at him to get on the ground clearly not playing after a high speed pursuit 😂. Tell him all about it Reggie the kind officer is only trying to relocate you to a proper habitat suited for that behavior🤣 the booty house.
