WOW its an amazing creation but I gotta ask. How do the treads work? Is it just friction that drives them? If so how mach power can it put down and what are you using to gain that friction? Or are there hidden gears in the larger wheel? I am a big fan of any kind of tracked vehicle and I myself have been experimenting with original Lego treads (especially for outdoor use) for a while but theses self build ones just appear so much more solid. I really don't expect you to actually use any of your models outside given the great polished look they always appear in but purely theoretical would these tracks hold up in sand or on dirt?

The drive reduction is in the middle of the tractor. There are no exemptions in wheels. I was surprised how well the caterpillars are sticking to the ground. The less polished, the better the grip. You can always replace one of the rows with lego rubber link 1x2 for better grip

nie dało by się pokazać troszkę więcej od wewnątrz pod względem mechaniki? :c jak koła przenoszą napęd na gąsienice? przecież łańcuch się ślizga na tarczach i czym są te jasne części na wewnętrznych obręczach z łańcuchów? (wyglądają trochę na te elastyczne osie, ale nie widzę sposobu w jaki miały by być połączone w okrąg nie kolidując z płynnością jazdy)

Idea była taka by film był zwarty i stosunkowo krótki. Jeśli masz konto na facebooku zapraszam na mój fanpage. Tam masz zdjęcia z budowy opatrzone komentarzami. Pozwala być na bieżąco. Elementy o które pytasz to gumki rezepturki tylko że w kolorze czarnym :)

That thing you put as a shock in the middle in real life It’s a hydraulic cylinder are used to keep tension on the track and to remove tension from the track change them out

I guess he uses Studio 2.0, that's a free programm with which you can build what ever you want and make building instructions for it. I use it for a month now and I'm really happy with it!

PS4 Pad is connected to the phone. Recently, the Sbrick application has the option of configuring pad control. I use the SBrcikController application. Has much more configuration options
