FYI, I worked for Costco for 17 years. Management wasn't always the best, but you can't beat the pay and benefits. It allowed me to partially retire by 40. If you have to work retail and you have thick skin, Costco is a great option.

I wouldn't argue with direct voice chat, although big group can be a bit complicated when everybody wants to talk maybe in teamfights and such but I think pings are already such a good language to communicate through when you know how to use it and cooperate with it, ping spot, ping skills, ping wards, ping direction, ping items, DON'T ABUSE PING ON YOUR TEAMMATES :P it's relatively easy, the only difficult part is missing those pings but otherwise, still a great tool to rely on.

My play has taken place, naturally, between plat3 and bronze3. What ive noticed, is there really isnt much difference besides a tiny bit more consistency. THAT is the difference between mid tier ranks, execution consistency. In fact, many bronze players Ive faced were much more skilled than the plats

Been playing this game since season 1. And something I didn't notice back then but can totally notice nowadays, is how impossible it is for a player to climb because of smurfs. Ironically this is CONTENT for the same people who actually are having trouble climbing out of low elo. Even in platinum I've experienced enemies with +60 to 70% winrate against me with less than 100 games. It's quite obvious it's a smurf or boosting service.. and it's as obvious that the next 10 to 20 minutes of my life and also my LP are getting wasted over someone who can't play at their own skill group. It's as if a highschooler visits a kindergarten and starts bullying everyone while filming it for content and clout. Quite a pathetic way to go Stunt. Wouldn't be surprised if you were a boosted challenger yourself.

you get the same chance of getting a hard smurf on your team as you get one against you at the same time, theres a 3/3rds rule if youre at your actual skillrating, you will win about 1/3 of games with a positive influece, lose about 1/3rd of your games because you had a negative influence, and about 1/3rd of your games, you didnt have a influence at all smurfs do not make climbing harder, and you are not hardstuck in a rank because there are smurfs in the game, if youre hardstuck in a certain elo, thats because youre not better than said elo and even if it might not look like it, leagues mmr system is pretty fucking good at evaluating your skill, but just like every other analytic system, it needs data, a lot of data

If 1/20 people in your elo are smurfs, there is roughyl* a 20% chance for a smurf on your team, and a 25% chance of a smurf on the enemy team. So 1/4 the games there will be a smurf on the enemy team, 1/5 of those games you won't have one on your team. If you always lose when there is a smurf imbalance you lose 5% of games in champ select. LoL is a game where if you have a 52% WR you will climb, so -5% is taking a 55% WR to a 50% WR. at 50% you are hard stuck, at 55% you are climbing. This is even worse if you duo with another person in your elo. Now you only get 3 chances for a smurf on your team, and the enemy still has 5.

There can be multiple reasons depending on the champion and or matchup of the game. The most usual reason is that you don't know what type of fight you're going to get into next. High elo players don't just spam fights randomly. Every match-up has a different combination of abilities and basic attacks in order to be profitable. a pseudoexample: playing katarina E right into Cassiopeias E. You wont be able to shunpo nor flash out of it, so you'd probably level up a different skill for that matchup. He is probably waiting and deciding which one would be the most reasonable to level up before the next fight. As a season 1 player who once reaced mid diamond, I have never put much thought into when to level up a skill or when to wait. Some other strategies involving leveling skills and are often used by pro players as well: * Lvl 1 jungler who doesn't know if he's going to get ganked or not. Wont probably level up a skill before making sure he isn't getting invaded. * Using hotkey to level up your ultimate right at the very second you have turned into Lvl 6. This catches the enemies off guard and can easily win you the lane or just plain give a kill advantage over your opponent.

If you're in bronze you're doing almost nothing right. Sure you know the "basics" but your CS is trash. Your macro and map awareness is trash. Your decision making is trash. You have a lot more to learn than just "I don't carry consistently." Of course you don't, you don't do anything consistently which is why you're in bronze. This does not mean that you should be winning 100% of your games but if you are hardstuck in any elo below high silver that is on you. As for high silver and beyond, boi, some of these team mates are just straight up griefers. They will say "you are the only consistency in your games" and while that might be true, MM and EASILY screw you over with MULTIPLE griefers/trolls back to back, all on your team. Good luck trying to 4 v 5 or 3 v 5 in your promos. This is why a lot of players get stuck in that garbage cesspool like they got stuck in plat 1 back in the day because of these griefers. And this is coming from someone who could be paid to boost accounts from bronze to gold in 48 hours FYI. I was simply just better and eventually won without losing much LP. For the average player yea no. Edit: Also yes, people are right when they say that MM is rigged. It's always hilarious to see people say that it's not and then level 20s are on my team, yes, account level 20s, when my normal MMR is plat+. Instant loss due to the game being 4 v 5, this guy not knowing what he's doing at all whether it be team fighting or even just 1 v 1ing, etc. Instead 4 man report even though it's more of MMs fault and he should have stuck with playing bots anyway (for the record, we told him this and probably wouldn't have reported him but he LITERALLY did not want to listen to us so that's why he got 4 man reported). That was also not even a rare instance, you used to be able to check people's elo before they removed that and you see that one MF'er every 3-5 games who clearly doesn't belong there whether he's on your team or the enemy team. It gets even more obvious when it's a stomp that has NOTHING to do with the team comp but just extremely poor plays giving easy wins after MM screwed you over.
