Thing about him is that his passive although pretty nice is a none passive. You don’t really wanna auto attack with him in the first place and a bit of mana restored as your passive is kinda underwhelming. He should have a passive that boost damage the further away he is IMO. Also his stun is actually trash, like, actual trash tier CC. When played well you can make some insane plays due to his range but his stun is like 0,5 seconds in melee range. So if someone gets on you you’re basically dead. The whole kit is centered around you beeing too far away to get engaged on. Also while ulting you reveal yourself to the whole enemy team no matter where on the map you are so if someone is close by they can easily collapse on you while you’re sniping. All of this combined makes him so vulnerable. He’s the definition of a glass canon. Tons of damage but pops if you so much as look at him.

@@anshulshah1703 it's not just the mage issue, his kit sucks coz of all these new champs always having dashes or insane kits Viego has 2 dashes (W and Ult) Rell has leap with her transform Seraphine has an insane kit Samira has a dash and a AoE windwall Yone has 3 dashes, (empowered Q, E, and Ult) Lillia has insane movement speed with passive These are last 6 released, all of whom shit on Xerath, who needs to stay far away from enemy champs but they all can easily gap close on him XD. And most of the rest of champs have dashes and other mechanics too.

I think last hits with his Q could restore a part of the mana spent (like maltzahars DoT does) but since he is such a crazy long range champ I think the passive should reflect that. It could be bonus true damage if you hit beyond a certain range or just additional scaling from distance. Really anything would be better than a bit of mana on auto attacks.
