hey I really liked the vid! I've been playing Rell a lot in the past but I recently came back and got surprised that she got changed. I see it's still W max? It does seem logical into an Alistar I guess for the bigger shield alright I see it doesn't give more ms cannot. I saw many people max Q first into ranged or even E (which is very questionable to me?). If it's not a bother could you explain why this leveling? I'm nowhere close Challenger but I'd love to hear some advice. And oh, radiant and dmp? aren't those expensive? isn't evenshroud better?

to be completly honest I'm pretty sure E max is the best right now for rell, but Ive had an unbelievable ammount of sucess maxxing W and lost everygame that ive tried E max even though statistically it makes more sense and every pro max's E as well, so I've kinda just stuck to maxing W for my own playstyle, Ive seen some cases of Q max as well( i havent tried it myself yet as i like the other two more) , tbh The champ is kinda really broken in her kit and the changes between the 3 are so marginal that everygame could be a different max, so kinda just find out which one you enjoy the most As for the build path evenshroud has been nerfed quite a few times over the last couple of patches as well as the spike u get from giants belt rush in creating winning 2v2 and 3v3's is really insane and a lot of supports have been opting into this intead, the cost difference between them isnt too high either, most of the time 2nd item is fake for supports as the game will probably be over or you wont have enough gold to get it anyway from buying pinks so just the strongest first item makes sense

Two big reasons why people take minion demat these days The first being that when waves are slow pushing to you or in some matchups its just generally really hard for a melee support to be able to step up and take cannon without getting traded on, its one of the most punishable windows a lot of people miss out on in lower elos but will almost always get punished in higher ones, as well as its really important in early game to secure the gold for ur sightstone stack to get it as soon as possible The 2nd being that it creates faster timers for you to roam or reset as you push cannon waves a lot faster, in both melee vs melee and melee vs range matchups, imagine playing vs 2 ranged champions on a cannon wave if u use the Minion demat you can regain control of the wave and either be able to now take a free reset or maintain prio for other waves to come as its hard to them to walk up now there a lot of smaller niche uses for it like leveling up without ur opponent expecting, or using it during all in to take less minion damage, a lot of melee supports dont really struggle with mana either so theres not a big point to going cookies (except i kinda like them on leona) hopefully this answers your question
