My husband and I were cast as the gay couple at the motel scene with Josh! It was a great experience working with Luca!

Saw this tonight. Aces🎾It's my favorite film of the year so far and plan to see again this weekend and that score will be playing in my head this whole week.

That final tennis match in the film was crazy good. 😬 I feel old now seeing Zendaya play a mother onscreen. 😭 Thank you for your review, Perri. 🙏

Thank you for this fantastic review. I can't wait to see this film. For more on Zendaya and her experience making this film as both an actress and producer, read her cover story in this May's Vogue. It was written by my daughter, Marley Marius.

Got to see it last night. Really dug it. The characters and premise were so believable to me, and it was cool to not be presented with a particular person to root for. Time jumps drove me nuts though, and I didn’t care for the score; I actually lost bits of dialogue to it, annoyingly. And as an ultra-trivial nitpick, some of the ‘efforts’ during the matches sounded canned/repetitive the longer they went; a few people in the room started to chuckle at them too. But yeah, rate it highly. 🏆

I'm so happy that the movie and the cast especially Z have raving reviews. I want Z to really shine as a lead actress and/or in an ensemble. So far, I have not seen her outstanding performance.

I saw it today. I really wish I felt the way about it that you did. For me - I had no problem with the acting of the 3 leads per say - they can all act, but in the end, 2 of the 3 characters really don't come off as likable/someone you are rooting for, and the other not that much better of a person. And what really bothered me - without spoiling it, was the ending. I felt there was a lack of resolution. I watched an "Ending Explained" video and after hearing the reasoning, I still felt cheated. I felt the story just didn't reach a conclusion to what they had been building to, and then what would have been the aftermath. I'll give it another try when it comes on Amazon Prime, but for me right now it probably is my most disappointing movie so far this year.

Saw it today and loved it. Agree with everything you said. A big surprise to me was the original end credits song, I knew Trent & Atticus did the score but hadn't heard they did a song as well. Loved hearing Trent's voice as the credits started to roll. It's a good, fitting song.

REally enjoyed the movie, but I need to see it again. The time jump is a bit confusing in some scenes. And I missed some of the dialogue. And I don't quite understand the ending... I need a spoiler discussion...
@KhalidQuesada7 ай бұрын
What don't you understand about the ending?
@brianng83507 ай бұрын
@KhalidQuesada spoiler talk... So, who won the match. Art went over the fence and Patrick caught him? At first, Art was angry after finding out Patrick had a fling with his wife, but after a while, Art seems like he was smiling? Does that mean all was forgiven? Does Tachi end up coaching Patrick? Does Art and Tachi stay together?

The umpire took me out of it. An umpire is an invisible presence officiating the match. Projecting your identity like that won’t work in real pro tennis. It distracts from the game and the players.
