What a nice surprise seeing another upload of this game before Thursday. Let me just say it is very much appreciated. I know from watching some of your other videos that you have had some things happen recently that have been difficult to deal with. Whenever a Minotaur throws you into the air fire some arrows into him with your bow. When swimming press and hold R1 for a few seconds then release for “sprint”. Hades is probably my favourite boss fight in the whole GoW series. When you’re fighting him with his own claws he reminds me of an angry bartender at last call. 😆

The wasn't the boat captain that wanted revenge on Kratos that was Alrik the barbarian king. It's implied that he was Hades mortal champion similar to how Kratos was Ares. Kratos kills him twice the first time when he offered his soul to Ares and the second time in God Of War 2.

That was actually Deimos from god of war ghost of Sparta. He talks about a “rescue that will never come.”

@@fraughtmonster8 Why would Deimos try to impress Hades by asking am I not all you wanted? It only makes sense that it would be Alrik who left that note for Hades. He's also the mortal who held the biggest vendetta against Kratos since Kratos killed him and his army. I assume he wrote that letter before God Of War 2 since he mentions that he becomes a God while I rot.

Btw if you think this was the best boss battle yet just wait until you get a little deeper into the game, you will understand why Atreus in GOW4 asked “Can you kill something that big?” The biggest being in all of GΩW. Which reminds me, this is a little late news but the 1st game to ever take place in chronological order is Ascension which you can play on PSNow if you don’t have a PS3.

This game finally got the idea of giving him different weapons correctly. "Normal" weapons made the game feel generic, the Blades is what made the game special. So now we get four chain weapons, each with their own magic ability! I loved the Claws because they changed his dash animation in a unique way.
