I do agree with my dear friend ❤️ but I wouldn't lose the original rivets of the box's joints .

@@a_shandcrafting8226 I do the same thing on carriage bolts I have taken off of wheelbarrows (that can be salvaged), and will be doing it again when the weather is better. Especially when it comes to a 1950's or 60's garden wheelbarrow I found in a barn (grandmother's old wheelbarrow). The old rivets are intact, so I'm not gonna be drilling them out and replacing them.

Yes I do agree with you , especially the old things make me feel so sad if I lose or remove an original part 😂 . So I am doing this way to keep everything as it is but in clean look .
