This was discovered. Even way back in the 16th century. This is an absolute Masterpiece.

Much too much dramatic music and language. It is nearly 10 minutes before there is anything about the actual building but even then there is lflowery language about how wonderful the building is with very little information.

I agree, every expert is saying a 2 second phrase the it cuts away to the next person, I have been there but stopped watching after a few minutes, just before the narrator says it’s the size of 300 Olympic swimming pools or 50 football fields, probably 🙄

it's funny how the "ancients" had nothing and look what they did while the moderns have everything and cant' do anything except to say i caaaaan't......i don't know how.....it's too hard......the "mindset" of then and now is astounding!!!

Why did the Germans leave this beautiful chateau alone during WWII? They took over so many others for their officer’s use. Did they send no troops to search the contents?

Just think about it there's no way Leonardo had anything to do with this everything he did was documented by himself.... Documented everything that he did....

He saw past present and future others could not. So he had to draw them the plans for it. It would be one of the finest mancaves ever built.

This is cool beautiful architecture and I would love to see all the photos but the melodrama is too much.. I'm not even a minute in and it's just overwhelmingly bologna.... An architecture especially ancient architecture is one of my favorite things and this is beautiful but I'm not sitting through the melodramatic crap

What civilization built this, and when? This narrative is difficult to believe. Also, no original records, no blueprints, and for our standards impossible to replicate let alone build on a "16th century" marsh with no electricity etcetera. It's just odd.

Was immer richtig war: Die (bedingungslose) Liebe... (Fast) ALLES (andere), was/wie wir (und unsere Eltern) unser Leben bisher verbracht haben, war falsch... Liebe Grüße...

This is how they muddle the narrative! I loved it when he said "The King needs the chateau NOW" and the workers worked so hard and there were SO MANY OF THEM! Knowing what you and I know, I'm angry that history is a lie and it's being reinforced here. Be well, be safe...

To exalt the King, the laborers suffered and died. These massive grandiose ego projects cost the French treasury exorbitant amounts of money that they couldn't really afford, and once again the lower classes suffered. Finally, the French people had enough of it and revolted. The first to see their bodies forced onto Madame Guillotine's slab were the rich elites and their cronies! Makes me wonder what the King's Musketeers thought of the extravagant lifestyles of the monarchy!

Kings built palaces for the same reason that Pharaohs built pyramids for the same reason: to show off their wealth and be comfortable. The only difference is that Pharaohs believed that their good life in the monument would be after death, and kings wanted to enjoy their palaces while they were alive. In the case of this palace, the vain and ambitious French king neither enjoyed it while alive nor was he buried in it. And everyone talks more about the architect Leonardo da Vinci than about the king who commissioned the palace.😂😂😂
