In this lesson we will be learning the 70's fushion funk classic Chameleon by Herbie Hancock. This instrumental is in Bb and uses a lot of chromatic approach in the main riff.

It is being played on the synth in the original recording simultaneous to herbie playing it on the bass. If you listen very closely you'll hear it. Don't be mistaken.

Side question, I noticed there is fret buzz while walking the line at 2:05. I'm a beginner and my bass does that too...wondering if that amount of buzz is normal or a bit off and need adjustment?

only needs adjusting if you don't like it. fret buzz is kind of subjective to a point. some people like a mostly clean sound, with buzz, if you really play hard, and others like it where there's a lot of buzz or no buzz at all. its really up to you
